FAQ

Visual Lab Pro Full Walkthrough
What's the difference between Visual Lab Free and Visual Lab Pro?

Free gives you all ten visual categories, but each is locked to its first mode, with a limited color set. Sound reactivity is identical and there's no time limit or watermark. Pro unlocks every mode and sub-category, the full color palette, the FX knobs and mod buttons, Multiple Mode, Performance Mode, presets, Video Capture, and drag-and-drop images and fonts.

Does it work in my DAW?

Visual Lab loads as an AU or VST3 plugin in Logic, Ableton, FL Studio, Studio One, Cubase, Reaper, Bitwig and MainStage. It also runs as a standalone app with no DAW at all. It does not currently work as a plugin in Pro Tools, since there's no AAX version yet, but you can run the standalone app alongside Pro Tools using an aggregate or loopback audio device.

I didn't receive my license code. What do I do?

Your license code arrives in a separate email from your order confirmation, so it sometimes lands a few minutes later or in an unexpected place. Please check your Spam or Junk folder, search All Mail for "Greyland" or "Visual Lab," and check the Promotions or Updates tabs if you use Gmail. If it still isn't turning up, contact us with your order number and the email you used at checkout and we'll get it to you.

My license code won't paste / says invalid.

The code is case-sensitive and very long, so typing it by hand almost always ends up one character off. Copy it straight from your email and make sure there are no extra spaces before or after it. Some systems have a glitch where the activation box quietly rejects a paste. If that happens, contact us and let us know whether you're on Mac or Windows, and we'll send a quick fix that skips the box entirely.
